  1. Girl Online - Zoella: Book Review

    Wednesday 7 January 2015

Girl Online is the first novel written by YouTuber and fashion/lifestyle blogger Zoella.

Now when I found out that Zoella was writing a book, first I was excited, and then I was eager to buy it. Sadly I couldn't go to any book signings, and brought the book later than everyone else.

Girl Online tells the story of Penny, an annoymous blogger under the name Girl Online, who blogs about her family, lifestyle, friendships and panic attacks.

Personally, I love the way the chapters are short and quick, not long and dragging. Also, the book cover is another thing I adore. It's super girly and super cute, BUT this does not mean it's just for girls. One of my friend's who is of course a male, is eager to read this too!

It's obviously a chicklit, and I love the almost realism to this book. It talks about how people claim to be your friend, but in reality backstab you horrdenously. I think that it's worth a read and for a first time written novel it is quite good. Of course she got help from Penguin books and so on, but I love the character ideas and the settings.

I rate this book 5/5 purely because I love chicklit books and this one is by far my favourite! I cannot wait for Girl Online 2!:D
